Can I save a visio document as a .pdf to make it easier to send to someone
who does not have Visio?

If you don't have Visio 2007 then there are several PDF writers
available free or for very reasonable sums. pdf995 and cutePdf are two
that I know of and have used. With these you can create PDFs from just
about anything that knows how to output to a printer.

Hi Dean...

This is certainly a good idea (and, of course, it's what Bill Gates intended
for us) but I've frequently wondered if there's a way to save a viewer along
with the Visio document. Sort of like making a "zip" file self-extracting.
If someone were clever enough to develop such a scheme it might make life
easier for those who receive Visio drawings but don't have the program.
