I have a flowchart drawing in Visio 2010 which has several flowcharts,
overviews, and detail pages. The flowcharts and overviews link off the main
nav page internally, and the detail pages link externally to PDFs created
with Word.
I have created a PDF from the .vsd and all the links work fine, both
internal and external. However, the document is not portable for others to
see without access to my network where the external PDFs live.
I would like to somehow embed or otherwise "attach" these external detail
PDFs to the main PDF. Is this possible from within Visi?. Is there some
third party app which can embed these docs? Can Acrobat do this?
I would really prefer something within Visio, so when I update the .vsd, I
won't have to apply the labor in whichever tool I end up with over and over
again.
I hope this isn't too murky...
Thanks,
Ed
