Visio printing lines I don't want

PeterBBailey

Hello,
I've gone back from Visio 2007 to Visio 2003. I just couldn't handle the
lack of text styles in 2007. Themes just don't cut it for me. Anyway,
everything's working back in 2003 with my org. chart. But, when I print, I'm
getting horizontal and vertical lines all over the place, lines that are NOT
in my drawing. Does anyone know where these are coming from? It's making my
drawing essentially unusable.

Thanks,
Peter

Peter, this often a video frivers problem, check that you have the
latest.
Or, reduce the level of hardware acceleration for your video driver.

Hello, muffin is new to this discussion, what I have to say may be of no
interest to some, but here we go anyway. On several occasins my Dell lap top
Inspiron 1501 has so to speak froze. No keys at all would function, I force
a shut down. After a while I start it up again, and we are okay. Has any
one else had this problem?

Who? if any one is using this website to vent their complants about etc. I
check often. No one is there. B ut I will continue to check.

"muffin"
this is not a formal support site. It is covered by people on a volunteer
basis. If nobody responds, the alternative is to open a formal problem with
Microsoft.

Peter -
One of the nicer new features of Visio 2007 printing was the addition of
Gridlines as a printing option. If you decide to try 2007 again (or are
still working with it), check on the Page Setup dialog to see if there is a
checkmark next to "Gridlines" ... as they may be the source of the extra
lines in your print out.

I can't seem to understand what makes this so great. Who uses it anyway?
What is it for? Let me know when you have time..

I do not understand your question. Are you asking who uses Visio, or who
uses this Newsgroup?

The Newsgroup is a place where people using Visio can share problems and
tips with one another. It is not a formal support site, so if you need
urgent assistance with Visio (or any Microsoft products), your best bet
will be to contact Support. You can visit the main Support portal at
http://Support.Microsoft.com for more info.
