Hi Sneddoh,
I think Visio 2000 is installed with Service Pack 2 and that is the cause for your issue (Check this link for
details:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/902323 ).
If you want to get rid of the printing issue completely, you may uninstall Visio 2000 [which will uninstall
Visio 2000 SP2]; then you may install Visio 2000 without SP2, BUT it may lead to some other issues (Check
this link for the list of issues that are fixed in Visio 2000 SP2:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/830243).

I am running Visio 2000, when I try to print to PDF, Visio redirects to my
default printer.
The only way I can print to PDF is to set PDF as my default printer create
my PDF file then change back to the original default printer.
This is a pain - is there a work around or is this the way Visio is set up
to work?
