At work we have several Visio users who can't open files over the network.
If I copy their Visio file locally I can get it to open BUT only if I
disconnect them from the network first. Then they get a dialog box called
Microsoft Visio Network Center saying subscription cannot be authorized
(which is expected since they are disconnected at this point) but at least
the Visio file opens fine. The wierd thing is they can open a network file
that is like 700K in size but the 1MB ones just hang Visio and only the
stencil area shows and not the floorplan they are working on. We are running
a Windows NT 4.0 Domain. Please let me know if there is a solution that
allows the users to stay connected to the network.
Thanks,
Steve
