Visio re-routs relationships in database diagrams to silly areas

[Im So Desperate]

Hi,

Im quite new to Visio, and im absolutly pulling my hair out over it
automatically re-routing relationships in the Database Design mode....

Whenever I move an object, Visio moves the relationship line to posibly the
most obscure location and wont let me modify it [and if I try, it removes the
relationship, or attempts to create a new one]

Is there anyway to turn off auto routing and make it fully manual, whylst
keeping the whole relationship functionality?

well you might try going to file => page setup => layout and routing....

Yeah, I have already tried almost every combination posible, but they all had
similar consequences.

What I need is to be able to place a connection point on a database entity
and route a relationship to that point, without loosing the physical
relationship, then, atleast that way, I can control the routing of the
paths/relationships
