Visio Redo and Undo buttons missing

While working on a visio project I performed a function
that accidently removed my Redo and Undo buttons from the
toolbar. I have looked in tools and tried help.
When I go to tools and check the Redo and Undo box it
places a blank icon with no functions on my screen.

Any suggestions?

which version of visio you use? i use 2002 and on toolbar customize, it can
be reset using reset button if i do some mistake. reset button is on first
tab page. on option tab also it have a button call reset my usage data. have
you try it?
