I am trying to install security update KB822212. When it
asks for the VISIO.MSI file from the CD, it won't accept
the file as valid. The install process cannot find the
file automatically on the DVD; I must manually locate and
select the .msi file. But it rejects the file as invalid.
I installed VISIO Professional under Windows 98 from an
MSDN DVD. I have tried using the Visio Professional (SR-1)
Visio.msi file from the July 2003 Disk 2307, then the non-
SR-1 version from the June 2002 Disk 1183 (from which I
think I originally installed it), and even tried the Visio
for Enterprise Architects 2003 version from a May 2003
DVD. It barfs on all of them, and the installation fails.
How can I make the update install? Thanks.
