Hi,
I am fully frustrated by the Microsoft elimination of some very useful
features in Visio. In particular, whay pray tell was the ability to visually
call up and set a shapes size by entiering the desired measurements removed
(as far as I can tell). In the past say you had a drawing with 75 like
shapes on it. At a point you realized the shape size was too small and
wanted to reset all like shapes to the new size. You simply selected all the
like shapes, opened the dimensions and typed in the new value. Now it appear
the only way you have to set the shapes is one at a time, and trying to match
the exact size for each can be very difficult. I have actually taken to
dragging a "pattern" shape around the drawing with me, overlaying it on each
shape, then dragging the shape to match. How frustrating. It may be you can
do this in VBA, but that means I now have to stop and take a course in VBA.
I've never used it. Seems to me we're moving backwards (surprise) if we have
to learn VBA to perform what was once a very simple task.
