Visio shapes are not shown

Hello,

Can somebody please help me with the following:

At my work I use Visio 2003. Up until a few weeks ago, this worked
great. However at this moment, when I open a sheet, the shapes are not
shown anymore. Instead a box with a cross in it appears. I think it has
something to do with the path to the shapes, because the standard Visio
shapes do appear fine. Only the special "self-created" shapes do not
appear.

The strangest thing is that when I work at home over a vpn connection
and using exactly the same userid for windows, the problem does not
exist. The shapes show up normally.

I tried looking for a solution at microsofts knowlegde base, but could
not find anything. Does somebody out there have any idea?

Thnx in advance!

Ernie.

It sounds like you have embedded files (images or CAD) that are available via
VPN.
Check that your mapped drives & folders are the same.
