Visio shapes don't respond

Hello,
I am getting some weird behaviors in my visio diagrams. Some pages won't
allow any property dialogues to come up. Sometimes when I do a copy and
paste I get a clipboard error message. When this happens I am unable to
close
visio because a message comes up sying that visio can't close because an
event was still being handled. Also, despite the error messages, the copied
shape could still be pasted into a new page and then I use dto be able to
edit
the properties. But now the shapes get pasted into the new page without any
properties filled in.
Does anyone have a clue as to what is happening?

It seem like if another process ask to visio to do some works. As if an exe
file as declare a visio.application and use visio without returning
