Wouldn't it be fab if it were possible to number or tag Visio shapes with a
small, customisable tag that lies outside the main body of the shape. This
facility would allow users not only to indicate an extra level of order in a
process, but potentially to link to other documents giving more details about
the process element to which that shape refers.
I'm thinking:
Multiple tags per shape, multiple colours
Multiple numbering methods (1,2,3; A,B,C; User def 1, User def 2, User def
3; etc)
Tags to be hyperlinkable to other documents
Multiple tag styles - attached to shape body (like 'nodules' on the edge of
the shape), or separate from shape body (like a connected list, with more
detail possible).
