Visio stencils license

I have written a book, and in the book I have several network diagrams, which
I drew using Visio. I am not sure I am allowed to use the Visio stencils in
publishing, though. I am unable to find any licensing information in the
Visio help.

How are the Visio's graphic elements licensed? Are there any limitations to
how diagrams can be used?

I believe that you are allowed to publish the diagram, but not the stencils
....
(but, of course, the Document Stencil contains the used Masters anyhow)

If they are in the book, then they would be images of Visio drawings rather
than actual Visio drawings, so there should be no problems.

There may be an issue if you actually made the Visio drawings available on a
companion CD or as a download, but I doubt it. You would need a copy of
Visio to actually use the Visio drawings. (yes I know, you can open a Visio
Pro drawing with Visio Std)
