Visio suitable for "creative" diagramming?

I would like to move away from using post-it-notes, etc
to brainstorm a new idea - does anyone use Visio in this
fashion? If so I would appreciate hearing how, or a
pointer to a resource. I really don't want to have
several flowcharting apps if I can help it, and business
demands are such that I really need to improve my
diagramming ability. Thanks in advance for any help!

Visio 2003 has a brainstorming drawing type that allows you to create
hierarchical diagrams. There are tools for quickly adding several items at
once to the drawing as well as rearranging items in the drawing to fit.
It's pretty simple to use. It's mainly a question of whether that style of
presenting and recording information is what you are looking for.
