visio templetes and stencils

I have a very old version of Visio Home 3.0. If i were to upgrade to Visio
2003 can i retain and save my old templtes and stencials?

Good news and Bad news. All versions of Visio have the the ability to open
Visio documents or stencils from any previous version.

The Bad news? The answer to your other question is that any version created
before Visio 2000 SR1 no longer qualifies for an upgrade.

(Visio 2000 SR1 is the first version of Visio released by Microsoft)
