Visio Toolbars and Drawing Control

Hi,

I have an issue regarding the display of toolbars within my Visio drawing
control (DC).

I easily change properties of the "window" element, e.g. grid, rulers, etc,
but I can't display the toolbars within it.
I'm creating the control through Arbortext Editor that has the ability to
create an instance of DC in a separate window, which works fine.
I trap events and it's working flawlessly, but I just need to customize my
UI for my users to get everything OOTB when using Visio from Arbortext.

I found an analogous question on this newsgroup regarding the inability of
the DC to display the menu bar. Can anyone confirm that this is not possible ?
This question also covered the fact that the toolbar was displayable on
floating position. Am I doing something wrong or is it the only way this is
usable ?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Julien

Hi Markus, thanks for this prompt answer.

I forgot to mention some things.

I already read the page you sent me a few days ago ^_^

Actually what I would like to get to is just like figure 1.

Unfortunately, Arbortext only alows me to invoke a Drawing Controller
instance by using VBScript or JScript languages.

So, I can't do anything like shown on this figure.
For the time being, the only thing I can get is like figure 1 minus the menu
bar with the 3 entries and the toolbar containing the 5 icons.

And, the funny thing, when I ask the properties of the toolbar I'm willing
to show, I get the very annoying "True" ;-)

Another thing: the "Width" property says it is set to 0 and "Height" to 26.
Maybe this can help.
Since I can't set these properties, I'm pretty stuck !

TIA.

Regards,
Julien
