Visio updates it directory cache

I installed Visio Professional 2002 on Windows 2000 Professional computer.
When I launched Visio for the first time, the message "Please wait while
Visio updates its directory cache". This message does not appear during
future launching of Visio.
I replaced my old computer with a new one running Windows XP Professional.
Everytime that I launch Visio, the message appears. After a couple of
minutes, Visio completes its launching.
Why is this message appearing everytime that I launch Visio?
