FYI, I just solved a problem with Visio Viewer and thought I'd pass it along.
This sounds similar to but is not related to my previous post, which still
needs resolved.
I stored a .vsd file in a network folder. The folder was named "JB's
Sandbox." I had someone view it with Visio Viewer 2007. She got an error
message. I don't have the exact text of the error message, but it indicated
that Visio Viewer couldn't open this file format.
After many other attempts to resolve the problem, I moved the file to a
different folder called "Process Diagrams." It opened just fine. I then tried
renaming the original folder to "Sandbox" and moving the file back there. It
opened fine again.
I concluded that Visio Viewer is unable to open files stored in a folder
whose name contains an apostrophe.
