Visio Viewer In Access

Hi

I would like to use the visio objects in an Access Application and supply
the viewer with the application.

Will this work at all?

without getting into what the functional objective of the application are,
what are you going to do with the viewer? Remembering that to create a
drawing you require the visio product.

The Microsoft Visio Viewer should work in Access, and you do have
programmatic capability to read pages, shapes, custom properties and
hyperlinks. You can select a shape within the viewer and you can control
the display of layers too. However, you cannot create any shape or text ...
as Al has said, you will need the Visio product installed for that, and use
the Visio Drawing Control.
