We are attempting to use Visio Viewer as our main mechanism to
ditribute visio maps through-out our organisation.
Whilst Visio Viewer 2003 is very powerful, one issue we are having is
that it (for some reason?) has lots of unnecessary background when
viewing a document. The viewer allows you to change the colour of this
background, but not get rid of it!
This causes unecessary scrolling, and it is impossible (I think) to
position (or zoom to a particular point) even if you embedd the visio
file in a HTML page. You can preset the zoom value to '-1' which will
fit to page - but this still doesn't overcome the problem (I have spent
hours scouring the internet and playing with the object parameters -
especially the Cy and Cx - anyone know why these particularly don't
work?)
If anyone can help, or has had a similar experiences using visio - we
would be grateful.
We use IE 5.5 sp2 as a minimum , visio viewer 2003, and visio 2000 to
produce the documents themselves.
