Visio Viewer security warning

Hi,

When hyperlinking a shape to another diagram and click on it in Visio Viewer
a message always pops up saying:

"The file may contain potentially unsafe content. Do you want to continue
opening?"

I've seen many people asking for it but I haven't found any answer to
whether this message can be disabled. We're running this in a controlled
environment and we need to get rid of it.

I would be very grateful if a Visio wiz could help us out here.

Thanks,
Manso

I still haven't found anything. Even the smart guys over in the german forum
couldn't figure anything out.

Word on the street is that the folks inside Micro-Vis have said "that's the
way it is".

Lame! Lame! Lame!

Thanks Chris,

Agree, this is lame. Ihmo this means the viewer can't be used to build real
world applications. This would drive any user mad after some time.

Anyone from Microsoft interested in commenting on this?

Thanks,
Manso

We had to put the security warning in to conform to Microsoft security
policy, and as Chris said, there isn't a way to disable it. However, we hear
your feedback on this and will take it into consideration for future
versions (no guarantee that we can change it, however).
