I've reinstalled Visio from Office XP onto my laptop. When I attempt to close
the program, it immediately reopens to a blank window. I have attempted the
following:
1. I have attempted to use Detect & Repair from the Help menu within the
program.
2. Using the CMD prompt, I have used this groups recommendation of c:\visio
/r without success. I get the following error message within the cmd prompt:
"visio is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable
program or batch file."
3. I have shut down and performed a hard reboot of my laptop.
Due to the amount of data I have on my laptop and ongoing projects, I would
prefer NOT to use the System Restore function from the Windows Help and
Support area.
Any help to correct this annoying problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
