Hi,
Been expert Visio user since 1.0! Most used product next to Work&Excel (also
heavy into development). One of most valuable features was the ability to
hold down a couple of control key + mouse click to get instant +/- changes to
diagram. Same with panning. I think the newer pan & zoom features are very
neat, but it takes more time to use (have to go to screen, it takes up
drawing space, move the "elevator" car up and down,... etc). I use Visio as
an "rapid idea/concept sketch book", when I need to enable the pan & zoom
screen now, it is very disruptive to my thought process, becuase my eyes have
to leave my drawing! My diagrams vary from 8x11 to 36x72 when printed. Would
share samples if you wish. Just purchased the 2003 Visio version. Had owned
v1.0-5.0, 2000.
Love the product still. Dennis
