Visio2000 won't run on WinXP system with MS Office 2003 -- Why?

[Lost In V2000]

I have an older version of VISIO2000. I've loaded it to a new computer with
WinXP and M/S Office 2003. Visio Files will begin to open, and then M/S
Office 2003 will shut Visio2000 down.

Why won't Visio2000 run on this system, as it still runs fine on my old
Win98SE unit?

Pls. advise.

In what order did you install the products. Office 2003 deletes some
critical files that Visio needs, so it should be installed after Office.
