Visio2003: Connecting shapes stop working after a while. Why?

When I connect different shapes, everything seems fine in the begining. After
some work, I am not sure all the functions I'm using, the connectors does not
work anymore. If I copy the drawings to a new Visio file, it works for a
while.
What I mean by stop working is, whatever I do the shapes will only connect
by snapping geometri, not the acutal shape itself. (Only green
connector-points, none red).

Is your diagram densely packed with shapes? There is a limit to the number
of connection points that Visio will process when looking for potential
connections.

I have 5 pages. In 2 of the pages there are approximately 30 shapes. In the 3
others there are less than 15 shapes. The same problem occurs regardless of
number of shapes pr page.

This occured also while I had 3 pages only.
