Vista 64 bit: insert file as Print-out?

D

Dave

hello. I just got a new computer. It has Vista 64 on it and One Note 2007. I
can't seem to insert file as Printout. the option is faded out on the insert
file menu. Any suggestions?

This is a known issue with OneNote running in 64-bit. It is not supported.

David and Michael - thanks for the responses. It's unfortunate that Microsoft
isn't addressing the issue in the 2007 version.

It's sad. But it can not be changed.
For the reasons pls see: David Rasmussen: OneNote 64 bit print driver

As to workarounds:
It has bee confirmed by a number of users that using the PDFCreator
(open source) [1] for producing images in the TIF-format and
automatically inserting them in ON works fine.
In detail instructions are to be found in the comments in Nils Kaiser's
article [2] (AltTab on January 3rd, 2009 )
