Have run into a problem that I've never seen before in Vista. I have
developed a application in Access 2003, I have the XP developers kit, I
create the install disk for my application which includes the Access Runtime.
I haven't had any problems with the program installing on any Vista machine
until now. What happens is that the install works fine but when I try and
start my application MSAccess runtime window comes up saying Installing
runtime and goes through a couple of installes but the application never
starts. If you try and start the application again it goes through the same
MSAccess runtime install but will not start the program. I've turned of the
UAC and have made sure that the application is running as administrator.
I've uninstalled the runtime and my application using the control panel and
remove program and reinstalled the application but get the same results.
This is driving me nuts, does anybody have a clue as to what could be the
problem. Thanks for any help.
