I really like the task feature with Outlook 2002 that I have been using on
my XP machine. After upgrading to Vista I have to keep entering the password
in Outlook to get and receive email. Does the Windows Mail have the task
feature like Outlook 2002? Can i import all my address and folders from
Outlook 2002 into Windows Mail? Do i have any other oprions?
Thanks for the help

Windows Mail is roughly the equivalent of Outlook Express in XP. It is
an email/NNTP client, not a Personal Information Manager (PIM) like
Outlook is considered to be.

Other options? Outlook 2003 or better?

Other applications are working to compete like Spicebird, but they still
have a ways to go.

Outlook 2002 is not supported on Vista.

The Vista Calendar application does support tasks. I believe you can import
the mail and addresses - check the Mail menu to be sure.
