Hi there,
I have developed a Word add-in for use with Office 2003/Office 2007. I have
included a winword.exe.config in my setup that installs into c:\program
files\Office\12 etc. This works well for windows XP, but under Vista I
cannot place my winword.exe.config in the same directory where winword.exe
resides due to security restrictions. If I put the config file in the
virtual store my add-in doesn't work because it cannot find the config file.
How can I solve this problem? On one hand Microsoft forces me to put a
config file in the program files folder and on the othern hand they won't
allow me to put files there in Vista.
Kind regards,
Peter
