I have Windows Vista Premium and recenlty installed Office Pro 2003. When I
log on to Vista with my Admin account, Office programs run fine. However,
when my wife logs on with her General User account, Office tries to reinstall
things when ever she opens an Office program. I found the .cab file Office
said it needed in the cache directory in the HD, but when it said it needed
another .cab file on the Office CD, it said it couldn't open the file after I
located it on the Office CD. Canceling the installation does bypass all that
and open the program, but all her settings (page setup, toolbars, etc) are
reset.
Any idea why this happens on her General User account, but not my Admin
account?
And any ideas how to fix it?
Thanks,
Eric
