Vista Oper system doesn't support older Excel files

Tracy

I have a new computer with Vista oper system. Problem: cannot open my old
files on Excel. Does this mean I have lost that information forever or is
there a way to get it to open with new vista system?
Thanks

There's nothing about Vista that should prevent the use of any previously
created documents - Excel or otherwise .

However, this is a Macintosh group you'll get more direct replies if you
post to the appropriate Windows Vista or Windows Office group.

Start here:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/FlyoutOverview.mspx

Make sure to provide full details including Vista & Office/Excel versions
and exactly what *does* happen when you attempt to open a file.
