Vista OS: how to see the path & filename of my current word docume

I am usually have multiple word documents open...
My Word 2007 running in Vista does not display the path of the current word
document. I distinctly remember (& sorely miss) where previous versions of
Windows/Word displayed the path in front of the filename. Is there a simple
way to configure Word 2007 to display the files path?

way to configure Word 2007 to display the files path?

Right-click the Quick Access Toolbar and choose Customize. Set the category
dropdown to Commands Not In the Ribbon. Select the item "Document Location" and
click the Add button.

This puts a text box on the Quick Access Toolbar that always displays the full
path of whatever document currently has focus. It isn't wide enough to show all
of most paths, but you can click in it and then scroll left and right with the
arrow keys if necessary.

Duude! What a Godsend. Thank you! for an accurate & timely response. I
could have NEVER found that solution on my own.
This information is most helpful to my sanity & peace of mind... Without the
path info, it has been quite easy to become confused & work on & write to the
wrong document/folder.

This may be off the point, but in what may be a related matter:
I am becoming increasingly suspicious of Vista Windows explorer contributing
to my ability to work on the wrong document & / or save to the wrong folder.
I currently believe it (vista Windows explorer) has not refreshed the path
pane - even after I use the drop down refresh command. When I have recently
experienced this, Windows has offered a dialog box advising ~[the
resource is unavailable & may have been moved]~. I closed & reopened Windows
explorer, then it showed the updated path tree... (Of course, I just now
tried that operation to be sure I was describing it correctly, & it worked,
showing the updated tree-this time) I will take the time to pay closer
attention next time.
