Hey folks:
I hope someone can help me out there. I am running:
Microsoft Vista Home Premium on a Gateway 1.6 GhHz 2 CPU machine. 1.99 GB of
RAM.
Office Ultimate 2007
Latest updates all up-to-date
Experience:
I have used Office since it was invented and Outlook since it was invented
from MS Schedule.
History of problem:
I was having problems with Microsoft Outlook 2007 working with hotmail. The
problem was tons of freezes and crashes - along with multiple sends of
messages with attachements.
Today's Actions:
I installed MS Outlook Connector v. 4 today. I had to drop my old instance
of Hotmail in Outlook. It took forever to load, but that wasn't unexpected
given my multiple folders and mail in Live Hotmail.
Today's Issues:
When starting Outlook 2007 the application "hangs." When I launch the
system monitor I see that it has loaded about 4640 into memory and has
stopped. I then have to do a manual crash and upon rebooting it will tell me
"Opening Outlook in Safe Mode" -- that runs just fine with the connector
working and hotmail files visible.
I tried dropping some of the add-ins from the startup configuration. I have
run Office Diagnostics but have not found any problems with it -- all tests
came back fine.
DO I NEED TO REINSTALL OUTLOOK OR SOMETHING??
This was not a problem prior to installing connector 4. Is there a known
problem with connector 4 working with live hotmail and Outlook 2007?
