I have the developer edition of Office 2000 it includes
sql 7 and many other utilities. When programming modules
in Access I am taken to VB6. Is there any way to open up
just VB6 without going through Access?

MS Visual Basic 6.0 Pro or .Net gives you the capability to use VB as stand
alone to create apps.
