I get an error message ; Microsoft Visual Basic/ complie error in hidden
module. I have no idea how to "unprotect" the project, or how it became
"protected". This started about the time I installed Dragon Naturally
Speaking. No help with that company. I have removed Dragon, reinstalled
Windows and Office. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Hi,
I don't have any problems opening word or using word. I have problems when
I try to close and save a document. This error report shows up every time I
try to save something. The only way I can save something is to close it and
then save it at the Microsoft prompt to save. The error message shows up
when I try to open things, but I click "ok" on the prompt and I am able to
open new or existing documents. The message is a pain. I would like to use
my Dragon, but do not want to reinstall it until I get this error fixed. I
have also tried to fix it by reinstalling Office and upgrading it on the
computer. The downloads won't load and my computer tells me my disk is older
than the existing Office program I have. That is strange, since the only way
that could have happened is via previous updates.
..
Thanks, I hope this tells you enough you can help me. I am getting
frustrated!

Did you read the referenced section of the referenced article? It has to do
with an error message on closing Word.

Kenna,
I have the same problenm which just started yesterday after I
uninstalled 'Omnipage Pro 14' which had become unstable for some reason. I
just wondered if you had resolved the problem and could perhaps let me know
the answer (if you have it)

When you uninstalled OmniPage, did you leave its add-in behind in the Word
or Office startup folder? This would cause your error as the addin would not
be able to find the application.

Kenna,
Solution can be found at support.microsoft.com Article ID Q328239. Problem
in my case was caused when uninstalling Via Voice.
