Visual Basic in Access 2000

I'm using Access 2000 for the first time and noticed that when typing a code
in visual basic I used to have a pop up window (Access 97) with some
selection such as currentdb, database... I used to be able to declare my
variable using "dim db as database" but now DATABASE is not an option and
does not work if I just type it, what happened???
