Visual Basic

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can get a good reference on visio programing in
visual basic 6? Which tells a developer how to add a dll to visio 2002, as
well as add new menus and catagories? Thanks in advance.

Try Graham Widemans survival book. He spends time in developer strategies
for different solutions (i.e. native, dll, and vsl).

Yes, I agree, I use it all the time as a reference :) (And the ironic
thing is that I *do* use it frequently...)

Seriously... if you've already checked out Developing Visio Solutions on
MSDN, and are ready for more (or differently organized) material, you might
give my book a look.

Graham,
Welcome back. I just saw the announcement of your new book. We've missed
your insights.

Thanks guys,

However, I'm press for time. Currently I just need to create a prototype vb
com object to see if my project will be able to use VISIO and they gave me a
really short period to do it, a week. If you guys can show me a simple vb
program which adds and edits a UML object in visio it would be appreciated.

Thanks
