Visual C++ Runtime library error

whenever I try opening excel 2000 using XP OS, I get the error messag
"runtime error"....this application has requested the runtime t
terminate in an unusual way.....

Any ideas on how to fix this problem pleas

Just in case it is not only an Excel problem, try this:


Try uninstalling the Google toolbar using Control Panel-Add/Remove.
