Windows 2000 and Windows XP Offer their own
onscreen keyboard
Start=>Programs=>Accessories=>Accessibility
that will switch to the input language current
in effect from the Office Language Toolbar.
Office 2003 also offers an 'on screen standard keyboard'
that is a part of the Office 2003 Alternate Input/
Handwriting optional install items through
the Microsoft Office 2003 listing in
Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.
You can add that feature through the Keyboard or
Text Services choice in the Control Panel.
Unfotunately it only appears to be for the
English standard layout at this point.
You may want to look at 3rd party options such as
http://p17.aaacafe.ne.jp/~sachs/vkey_e.html
which are similar to the Windows XP Onscreen
Keyboard accessibility option.
Some folks have had success with using the
MS Office Visual Keyboard for Office XP/2002
while in Office 2003 if it was installed prior
to adding/upgrading to Office 2003. Others did
not have success with that approach.
=======
Do you know if visual keyboard will be offered in Office 2003?
Thanks >>
