I would like to generate a pivot table of work for tasks and resource
Groups and Codes. Tasks on the vertical, resource Groups and Codes on
the horizontal, and work in the data area. The Assignment Usage cube
and Visual report almost do what I want. But I can't group and sum by
Resource Group and Resource Code. I am only interested in Group totals
not individual resource data.
1. Can I generate Resource data as a dimension with Group and Code as
levels under Name? I know about displaying properties of Resource
Name. But as noted on recent posts, it is display only.
2. Is is possible to get Resource name to sort by ID or in the order
it appears in the resource sheet (like the task stay in id order)?
Even though data source order is selected on the advanced tab is is
still alphabetical. Project must be sorting it when it creates the
olap cub.
