I am writing some vba applications with the Visual Basic Editor but
iot is quite old (the "engine" is VB6.3).

Is there to use anyway to use Visual Studio environment to do vba
programming? For example when I want to edit a macro Visual Studio is
called instead of VBE.

Thank you
Antonio

No there isn't at present. It wouldn't suprise me if something like this
gets into the next version of Office.

You can use Visual Studio Tools For the Microsoft Office System (VSTO) to
write code behind your documents using fully managed code (vb.net/C#). I
recommend you look into this (full links about VSTO on the Office Developer
Center- see below my name).

We supply no other IDE than the VBE one for VBA macros.
