VLOOKUP and Combo Boxes

I have a complex workbook I'm developing where I have lists of States, Contracts and Endorsements. I've created a drop-down that will select the State. Now I want to create another drop-down that will pull back only those contracts that apply to that state. Any idea how to do? I tried using VLOOKUP but the drop-down will not accept functions... Help!
