VLOOKUP Returning a #N/A

Using a vlookup, but getting a #n/a only on a few items. I concantenate two
cells, then look for the same concatenate in a table. Out of 276 items, only
10 do I get an #N/A. I coppied the same date in the two columns I use in the
first concantenate columns into the table to do the concantenate in the
table. I have narrowed the problem to the data in second column becasue if I
use a different data the formula works. There are matches in the table to the
requested data in the formula. I have asked several EXCEL experts in my
office to take a look but they can not fine the problem. Very strange. Using

Usually an extra space somewhere........leading or trailing.......in the
data that "looks the same" if text data.

Or with numbers it could be decimals places.

123.45 could actually be 123.446 formatted to to 2 DP
