Can you have two vlookups in one statement? Tab A has 3 columns, EMP #, GROSS
PAY, and DATE.

See the chart below. Say i want to a cell to tell me the gross pay of emp
#1550 on 01/22/10, how would the formula be?

EMP# GROSS PAY DATE
1550 $1000 01/08/10
1582 $1530 01/22/10
1550 $1643 01/22/10

Assuming your data with headings is in A1:C4, and that you use cell E2
for the employer number (1550) and F2 for the date (01/22/10), then
you could put this formula in G2:

=SUMPRODUCT((A$2:A$4=E2)*(C$2:C$4=F2),B$2:B$4)

to return 1643. Adjust the ranges to suit your data.

Hope this helps.
