Vlookup

is it possible to do a vlookup only if the column prior is tagged with a Y

so far example

If Column J says Y then Column K does the lookup?
=IF(J3=Y,Vlookup(Data!A2:H1602,8,false)

except this doesn't work

=IF(J3="Y",VLOOKUP(K3,Data!A2:H1602,8,0),"")
