WT IS VLOOKUP COMMAND IN MICROSOFT EXAL

How about we do a simple example to get yuou started.

In A1:A5 enter A, B, C, D, E
In B1:B5 enter 10, 20, 30, 40, 50
In D1 enter =VLOOKUP(C1,A1:B5,2,0)

Now in C1 enter any of the values of A1:A5.
You can expect these results:
C1 = A returns 10
C1 = B returns 20
etc...

This is a simple example above. The following will do a VLOOKUP across eight worksheets that have 200 rows and three columns on each sheet.

=VLOOKUP(B1,INDIRECT("'"&INDEX(MySheets,MATCH(1,--(COUNTIF(INDIRECT("'"&MySheets&"'!A2:A200"),B1)>0),0))&"'!A2:C200"),3,0)

There are many varations of Vlookup to suit certain needs, too numerous to mention here.
