vlookup

I am trying to vlookup 2 sheets but because some of the cell have extra space
hence formula isn’t working. I tried to eliminate the space by data – text –
delimited – check space, but the cell is types as eg USA – Mobile, USA –
Landline etc, and the above text function will also separate the USA and –
and mobile & landline.....
Any advise? Thanks

Well, this seems like a completely different post, but it isn't any
clearer to me. Please list examples of what you have (and the cell/
column references), together with what you want to do with it.

Pete, Thanks for the reply. I managed to resolve the problem by using 'trim'
function on the source sheet.
