Voice notification of new mail

I see many people want to remove the new E mail voice message saying, I think
"you have new mail". I am trying to get my Outlook 2003 to give me such a
message , I cannot find the voice file. I have downloaded and installed
Office voice files, still no message. Currently it just rings.wav with the 30
Sec desktop notifications pop up.

Voice notification is not a part of Outlook's abilities. Perhaps you want
something like one of the .wav files here:

The files work fine with Outlook.

You select any sound file in Control Panel, Sound schemes, New Mail
Notification--not in OL.
You can even record your own short wave file using Sound Recorder. Plenty of
sound files available for download on the web. I use Hal's voice from the
movie 2001 "There's a message for you."
