Voice recognition,

G

George

I'm using Outlook2003w/BCM on WinXP PC, along with the usual mainstream
software...Adobe, Dell toss-in's, etc. Would appreciate any insights
into...

1) Is there by chance a voice recognition application on one of the CD's, or
deep in the menu's of any of this, or available from something like the MS
website?

2) If not, can anyone recommend a mainstream app that I can just install,
use my $2 microphone plugged into existing sound card, then just read notes
off and have it enter the text. Does this "integrate" with MS Word at all?
Does it work ok, or are we talking long setup times, poor accuracy, and lots
of special equipment/cards/etc. to get going?

Thanks,
George

Windows XP with Word 2003 already has speech recognition built in. Click
Start>Help and Support and enter "speech setup" in the Search box.
