Volunteer schedule & database

I am a new to access. Never used it before. Last year I organized 1000
volunteers to fill schedules for 15 locations for a huge fundraiser all on
paper. This year I would like to do it using Access. Is this possible? 15
locations, two hour time slots for 30 days and a 1000 volunteers. I am using
office XP. Help. Does anyone have a template that can be adapted? I am
currently doing this volunteer.

Arrggh -- do-able, but definitely not the simplest task for a total newbie.
Hopefully somebody will chime in with a template. Meanwhile, think through
it and see if you know everything you'll need to know, such as volunteer
availability periods (not mentioned in your post). If you have Supreme
Powers and can dictate when they will work, great, but I've never seen one
yet that works that way.
